The Estuary Bar and Rooms

Comfortable room, lovely hot shower. The brunch was really good. The only negative point was there was a continual droning sound, ? due to an air-conditioning unit.

We stayed here fir one night prior to a family wedding in Llanrhidian/Oldwalls. It worked out well. The distance to the church was approximately 4 miles. The location of this lovely hotel was right on the estuary and had great views. We saw the wild horses visit in the morning. The hotel room was very comfortable with everything that you could need. The bathroom was compact but perfectly complete. The smart tv was a bonus. The bed was really comfortable and we had a nice sleep. The balcony was a bonus and although the weather wasn’t particularly good, it was nice to sit out with a cup of tea and look over the estuary. We had a coffee and blueberry muffin on arrival in the gelataria as we had arrived a little early. We couldn’t resist an icecream on the way out! Later we had a soft drink at the bar and tapas in the outside covered area. The tapas were really good. There was also overhead heaters to keep us cosy. The whole set up was very “COVID safe” and staff were conscious of safety at all times. The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient and this contributed to our pleasant stay. The only problem is finding an excuse to return to this lovely little gem!

Special mention for Jamie who welcomed and served us during our 1 night stay. Such a natural and chatted with us during dinner, you make a difference! Lovely spot overlooking the Estuary, clean and comfortable room with all amenities you need for a great stay. Great shower and large bathroom, very nice decor throughout - thumbs up! Food was absolutely fantastic, delicious tapas style menu, each dish was just fabulous and breakfast menu was slightly different but equally scrumptious and great value. Massive shout out to the chef and his team.
