DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach

The location to the Convention Center was perfect. Within walking distance!

The pool was “under construction “ and at no time was this expressed on the Booking.com site nor the Double Tree site. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool use. In addition to no pool access, we had to pay $13 for breakfast buffet for a 3 year old. Absolutely absurd.

Terrible experience. Floor was so loud with teens running up and down the hall after midnight. Room next door very loud (thin walls to say the least). Tried to talk to the front desk - said they would have security monitor the floor but nothing helped. They allow door dash and other deliveries directly to peoples room any time of the night as well. When I made a comment about that they didn’t understand the issue. Unfortunately knocking on doors and opening and closing doors is loud and wakes people up. I am a Hilton Gold member and have given up on Hilton quality at this point.

It was a beautiful property. Well maintained and very clean. The bed was amazing. And its location was perfect.

I went to go downstairs to the bar and it was closed but online it said it was open.

Convenience; signage on the backside as to the front entrance would be appreciated.

Clean, walkable to most attractions, and Ivy was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend.
