Dimora Botteghelle

It was our second time at Dimora Botteghelle. This gorgeous boutique hotel is located in the centre of Trapani (3 min away from the beach and 10 min away from the passenger's port). Our room was simply beautiful! Very spacious, bright and full of astonishing decorations and furniture. Francesca and the rest of the team were very helpful. The breakfast included various sweet and salty options, many fruits and fresh juices. It will be always our favourite place to stay when in Trapani!

We stayed for two very unpleasant nights due to the hotel's extremely poor soundproofing. It was impossible to sleep properly as we could hear every noise from other rooms and the hallways. Despite being told that the noise was caused by a guest's dog, which was leaving the next day, the real issue was the lack of soundproofing. We were woken up several times each night. The staff on-site couldn’t help, and the management, apparently based in Singapore, refused to be contacted and didn’t want to address our requests to change hotels or get a refund. The hotel is also poorly maintained, with electrical issues, and they advertise rooms with balconies that are completely unusable. Additionally, the room had significant visibility issues, forcing us to keep the curtains closed at all times, leaving us in darkness. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

The property is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. We will be coming back for sure!

Great location, gorgeous rooms, had all facilities, air conditioning worked well. If you are located on upper floors your luggage can be lifted up via a mechanical crane if you arrive during times that don’t require self check in ( so you don’t have to struggle carrying suitcase up several flights of stairs).

Excellent hotel, with wonderful breakfast. Spacious room, beautifully clean. The wine bar downstairs is also highly recommended.
