"Morning Sleep"

I booked this place for my Dad, Mum and Aunts and even though the check-in was a bit touch and go with some dramatics, however overall....the host was phenomenal and my family had a good nights rest at such short notice and late arrival. The rooms was clean and spacious and breakfast was good. Would recommend this place for a good nights rest.

"The best place to be"

"Goodwil Manor Boutique Guesthouse"

This place is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the beds are so comfortable, TV with Christian channels was the best, the reception was very welcoming and the place very clean and neat. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Durban.

"Spontaneous treatment"

The rooms were clean and even the staff were very friendly Their breakfast is served on time and in nutshell I everything matched the value for money, The place is very far from the city center I would recommend that they serve dinner but upon request

"Lovely Stay"

Was there for a friend's wedding. we had a great time. the service was good and the area is quite lovely. we all enjoyed our stay in deed would not mind lodging at Goodwill Manor next time we are in Durban. you may just improve on breakfast.

"Avoid this place like plague!"

We had problems since the check-in. They asked us to pay immediately and just after that, only by our request to have the wi-fi password, they told us the internet was not available in our room due to some problems. They gave us a little refund only after we complained a lot and insisted on speaking with the manager.The room was in bad conditions and it was dirty: stained bed sheets and bath towels as well (only one set of towels given for two people).Breakfast is only available after 8,00: we asked to do it at 7,30 and the lady at the reception said that it was ok. The morning of departure nobody showed up for breakfast, so we tried to do it ourselves, only to find expired food in the kitchen (see picture attached) and terrible hygiene conditions (dirty everywhere, orange juice left open outside of the fridge all night long), so we decided to go away with our stomachs empty. We had to spend more money to buy us some breakfast elsewhere.This happened even though our reservation included both breakfast and wi-fi.Avoid this place like plague!

"Great"

The rooms were beautiful and clean. And the staff super friendly. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Durban. it has been a wonderful stay and environment to be in. it is close to the shops for convenience.

"Clean and blankets smells good"

Friendly staff, very quite a beautiful place but let's improve the breakfast please. There are soo many cost effective ways of preparing a lucrative breakfast, or maybe we take the breakfast staff for training.

"bad service and not willing to assist a simple request"

I arrived at the manor, we had decided to head home rather and was willing to cancel the booking and forfeit 50% as per booking.com billing on confirmation. the manor however had taken the 100% payment and not the 50% pre payment as per booking.com website which first had me furious as this is not what I agreed to online. With us arriving at the guesthouse and requesting a cancelation, the manager at front of house in reception decided it best to first finish his tea and cake which he was eating. found it very difficult to respond to my request as well as if I was talking to a mute. after several minutes, a gentleman whom I presume to be the owner/general manager then started stating that we are rude, etc and taking things very personal with my sister who took great offence to this whole ordeal. Till today I have still not received my refund, even after numerous phone calls, emails, follow ups through booking.com , etc! I am not getting any feedback and see this as a disgrace. I reserve my right to receive my refund as per cancelation policy on booking confirmation. Also, to the staff that was so rude to us! I reserve the right to my choice not to stay at the establishment! Hopefully this will hasten some processes as I am truly fed up with the non responsive members of this establishment.
