La Kasbah du M'goun

Le prix des repas nous a paru un peu élevé par rapport aux tarifs habituels.

The mountain and valley views from this magnificent building are stunning. We had a warm welcome and tea on arrival made by English speaking Samir, who also gave us local information and places to visit. He was so considerate and helpful, and made us tea again the next day when we returned from sightseeing. Our room was upstairs with a double and bunk beds, and ensuite. It was comfortable and contained locally made rugs and other items. It had a window with stunning views, and opened to a large terrace, equally amazing, so we had a cool breeze through the room. A good sized tasty breakfast was served downstairs at the time we requested. It will remain a highlight of our journey.

Ik heb me echt vergaapt aan de omgeving, en de uitzichten vanaf de kasbah en de kamer in het bijzonder was prachtig. De receptie had een boek samengesteld in diverse talen waarover e.e.a. verteld werd over de omgeving en wat er allemaal te zien (ook qua flora en fauna) en te doen was; en daar was allemaal geen woord van overdreven. 3 dagen was echt te kort, ik kan hier hele vakanties verslijten... Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, en er was een mogelijkheid tot het genieten van diverse maaltijden. De kwaliteit was top, en de prijs was prima (op rekening, dus afrekenen bij het uitchecken).

Het bereik van de wifi router viel een beetje tegen, maar aangezien mijn telefoon zelf totaal geen bereik had in de hele vallei was het toch wel prettig dat het er was.

The location is incredible. You need to arrive during the day. The road getting there is stunning, the landscape is out of this world.

Everything was perfect. I wish it had good wifi since I was working, but the place is amazing and work had to wait!
