Cantinho em Cascais, Spacious 3BR with Balconies

Appartment size, over setup and amenities.

It's on 3rd floor by stairs and no lift which is really a challenge specially familes with kids and elderly. This location in cascais is only accessible by Taxi easily as public transport is not good. The nearest train station in on 10 minutes drive and no metro. Buses comes with 30 to 40 minutes intervals so too much time taking. Lastly, it's very far from main Lisbon attractions but a peaceful suburb with 2 super markets on 10 Minutes walk. Beach is also around 10 minutes walk.

Good space in the apartment. . I left my tablet behind me and I was able to pay to have it couriered back to me. Quiet lication. .

It would have been nice to have some salt and suchlike left. There was one teatowel. ONE dishwasher tab. Just a bit on the cheap shabby side in terms ov xupplies. No info re lacal facilities. You had to go out to buy pretty well everything including salt. There is NO elevator. The key is accessed initially in quite an awkward manner. One of ths cupboard doors was broken. The sink was blocked - I sent a message on Sunday a heard nothing until we had a knock on the door on Monday morning. Realisticallyou need a car to access CaisCais. Very little by way of patio furniture. Comfortable apartment but also dared slightly shabby kitchen. If the same level of attention given to making sure the rent was paid could be given to the customer service then things could be much better.

Having booked 27 nights here we learned a hard lesson. We’ll never book such a long stay anywhere again, but instead will break up our stay into shorter periods. Because if we show up and the place is dirty and in terrible condition, we won’t be stuck there, as we were this time. We had countless problems with this place, including but not limited to black mould, thick layers of dirt on all the ceiling fans, broken items, a bedroom door that wouldn’t stay closed, and a very strong smell of sewage from the en-suite bathroom that meant we had to leave the bathroom and bedroom doors closed and couldn’t use either of them. The property management company, after all this, refused to let us shorten our stay, even when part of our stay was still beyond their usual cancellation period. They’ll say they addressed our concerns but consider this: 1) we had to sleep in a dirty apartment with all these issues in the meantime; 2) I had to repeatedly take time out of my day to communicate with the company and to let people into the property to fix things that should have been fixed before we arrived (e.g., there were 3 different visits made to try and sort out the en-suite bathroom); 3) even after 27 days, there were issues they had not addressed at all. It goes without saying, I will never stay here again. I would also not recommend booking apartments on Expedia, because I tried to cancel part of our stay through Expedia, and they said they couldn’t do it.
