Sacred Sands

Beautifully decorated, very private and comfortable.

The location was great, near the park entrance. The outside area with the shower, bath, and outside bed area for stargazing was nice. The walls felt short -- not that we had anything to hide, but it felt invasive when other guests were out exploring around the property. Looks like they are turning it into a wedding venue and adding a pool. The great room was neat, but we didn't feel we could use the outside fire pit area as there was no wood provided. Outside tub is neat as long as you have your suit on because the walls are short!

The room was COLD -- even with the heater turned up to 75 degrees and our robes on, we were cold. I think that this is a straw bale room, so there were not registers for heat to come through -- just the heat/air conditioning until up near the ceiling. Perhaps some floor rugs would warm it up -- the cement floor was also really chilly, but the slippers helped!

Terrific location just outside of the park. Fabulous accommodation and the host was very responsive and generous with the extra coffee was requested :). We absolutely loved it and hope to return one day. We were VERY comfortable and had everything we would need to relax and enjoy!

We loved our stay at Sacred Sands!! The perfect getaway oasis. Everything was just as expected from the pictures and information we received before arriving. The owners also are very communicative and helped to make everything so seamless! We cannot wait to return!

We found our new secret hideaway in Joshua Tree!The property looks exactly as pictured!The outside shower and tub are squeaky clean(pun totally intended!)and the water was very hot,which my husband and I prefer-especially when it gets cooler and breezier at night.The outdoor bed was also very comfortable and made a great place for stargazing(and yes,making out,too!).We spent more time outside than indoors but the Onyx room was cozy.The bathroom/indoor shower was lovely skylight with every amenity (including robes/slippers) and waterfall showerhead.Yay!There was also a record player and records to enjoy,Keurig machine w/plenty of coffee and creamer in the mini fridge as well as fresh water in carafes.We brought our own reusable bottles that we filled & took to Joshua Tree park.BTW the West entrance was about a mile from Sacred Sands.The access was not only super convenient but it made for a lovely drive through Joshua Tree.The property was very quiet even with outer properties nearby-we were not disturbed at all! Quail Rd. is nearby but the road noise did not bother us at all. Sacred Sands is also perched higher than other properties giving us spectacular views of the valley and added to the feel of privacy!
