I had the worst hostel experience of my entire trip in Vietnam at Hello Dalat Hostel. The bed was completely dirty when I arrived, and there were clearly stained sheets that looked like they had not been changed from previous guests. There was even what appeared to be human feces on some of the bedding, which is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. What made the situation even worse was the owner’s attitude. I reported the problem, but they did not seem to care at all and barely responded. There was no real attempt to solve the issue or even apologize properly. Cleanliness and basic hygiene should be the minimum standard for any hostel. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst accommodation experience I had in Vietnam, and I would not recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Hello Dalat Hostel because everything was quiet, comfortable, and private. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after almost two months of travelling, having a TV with Netflix was a great change. The breakfast was simple but very much appreciated — eggs, fruit, Vietnamese coffee, or tea. The hotel is located in a small alley, so it is super quiet and peaceful. The owners were also very respectful and relaxed, never trying to push tours or services, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Bonne localisation, lieu calme et propre. Staff très accueillant.

L'emplacement idéal, les conseils et la gentillesse de l'accueil, le petit-déjeuner très bien.

La piscine est abritée au rez-de-chaussée donc ne pas s'attendre à être nager sous le soleil, mais c'est conforme aux photos. L'emplacement a côté du marché de nuit est super mais nous a demandé de dormir avec des bouchons d'oreilles.

I absolutely loved everything; at no point did I feel like I was in a hostel, I felt like I was in a hotel!

It's impossible not to like something here.
