Sehr freundliche Gastgeber in einer charmanten Herberge auf einem alten Bauernhof. Ruhige, ländliche Lage – perfekt zum Spazierengehen. Lago d’Orta in ca. 1 Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar. Restaurant absolut empfehlenswert (Fassona-Steak und Hamburger waren top!). Zimmer einfach und altmodisch, aber sauber. Ideal für Reisende mit Kind oder Hund.

Das Navi hat die Straße nicht sofort gefunden und das Hinweisschild an der Hauptstraße ist etwas verblasst. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist nicht geteert und sehr schmal – für tiefer liegende Autos eher ungeeignet. Wie oft in Italien verlaufen Wanderwege teilweise entlang der Straße. Während unseres Aufenthalts war der Verkehr jedoch gering. Außerdem hatten wir Mücken im Zimmer, da die Fenster nicht mit Netzen ausgestattet sind.

It was quiet and picturesque, a great place to explore the lakes. The room was very spacious, with a big and comfortable bed. Good breakfast and exceptional cuisine at dinner. Nothing not to like!

The properties is at a very good location for enjoying the mountain village of Amalfi Coast and it is excellent for those who want to hike the Path of God, it is very near the mountain end of the path. You can hike the Path of God from top down which is much easier. The properties itself is nearly at a mountain top, the balcony of room can give us an excellent view of the village below and far away area you can see, the view is so good ! The lady-owner with her helper have done their best to customers, a welcome cappuccino on arrival and attentive to provide the breakfast every morning is their norm. The breakfast is better than a usual Italian breakfast with a few types of cakes and juice for you to select plus a make-to-order egg, it is very nice.

It is better you have a car for accessing this properties, otherwise you have an infrequent public transport, SITA bus to nearby mountain town then you have walked uphill for about 15-20 minutes to get to this properties.
