Cantilever Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

This is a very well done hotel. Great architecture. The rooms are very thoughtfully decorated. It has a higher end feel, especially for way up by the border. There are very busy train tracks behind the hotel, so try not to get a room back there. Thankfully the conductors don’t blow the horn at the intersection.

Excellent stay. Entire staff goes above and beyond to make for a great experience. And the bourbon is above excellent.

The Cantilever is a gem. Right across the street from the lake. easy access to Voyageur national Park.

The hotel being associated with a distillery and bar/restaurant was a new experience for me. Food was great at the restaurant.

Pros: Nicely renovated beautiful building. Great food for dinner and lunch. Excellent staff! Sauna & Hot tub were great! Cons: RIGHT next to a train track which kept us up both nights even though earplugs were provided, there’s no indication that this was the situated. No coffee maker or coffee available??? No E-bikes as advertised.
