Koh Jum Delight Beach

The location was fabulous. From our bungalow we could see the pool and the sea beyond. Plenty of Sunbed’s that could be moved between the pool and the beach. Hotel happy to arrange transport around the locality. There were a few restaurants within walking distance.

The pool would have benefited from at least three more umbrellas for shade. There was only one. The pool surround was dark brown and so extremely hot. Very poor design for a pool in full sunshine. Nicely located beach bar but needed more consistent staff attendance. The bungalow was basic but generally acceptable although there was a lack of storage and hangers. The white bedding was heavily stained with yellow marks. We stayed for six nights and thought the bedding would be changed half way through. It wasn’t, even though we left the towels in a heap (we found them hung up). The next morning we asked for a change and this was then done. The worst thing for us and the only thing that would make me not want to return wax the bathroom. It was a wet room situation but the drain wax at the opposite end to the shower. This meant that the floor never dried. When using the basin or shower you needed to stand in a puddle. Getting up for the toilet on the first night was not an experience to be repeated!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand und es stehen kostenlose Liegen und Strandtücher bereit. Bäume bieten ausreichend Schatten. Sauberer Pool vorhanden. Gutes Restaurant. Roller kann direkt über die Unterkunft ausgeliehen werden. Kostenloser Transfer von und zum Pier. Netflix kann über den Fernseher geschaut werden.

Leider war der Bungalow sehr enttäuschend. Das Bett war kaputt, die Fußleisten fallen ab. Das Badezimmer wirkt sehr schäbig und braucht dringend eine Renovierung. Alles ist alt und sehr abgenutzt. Generell war die Ausstattung sehr einfach, es gab nur das nötigste. Ein Stuhl im Zimmer hat gefehlt, zudem war der einzig vorhandene Tisch zugestellt.

Things are old and worn in chalet. Breakfast is always the same and coffee machine broke 4 days ago and not fixed Atmosphere in restaurant is not welcoming. Adequate but easy to eat elsewhere.

Cette île est parfaite pour quelques jours de détente et de coupure, et l'hôtel offre tout ce qu'il faut pour en profiter. Les couchers de soleils sont splendides, la plage est à quelques pas, avec les transats mis à disposition par l'hôtel pour ses clients, le cadre est naturel et agréable. A noter aussi qu'il y a un restaurant sur place, et un transfert navette offert pour arriver ou repartir, bien pratique. Le centre du village est à une vingtaine de minutes de marche agréable pour une petite ballade du matin avant la chaleur de la journée. Un endroit qui pourrait faire l'occasion de visites ultérieures si jamais de nouveau présent dans ce secteur.

Bungalows molto carini, a due passi dal mare, in una delle spiagge più belle. Ristorante buono. Servizi come noleggio motorino, indispensabile per l'isola, semplici veloci ed economici. Se torneremo in questa splendida isola, prenoteremo sicuramente qua!

Die Lage am Strand ist Top. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, der Garten gepflegt und das Personal ist bemüht.

Leider passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz. Für den Preis würde ich mir z.B. eine Badezimmer erwarten, bei dem ich wenn ich auf dem WC sitze nicht ein Bein in die Dusche stellen muss. Der Brauseschlauch des WC ist mehr oder weniger unter der Duschbrause und hinter dem Duschvorhang angebracht.

Lage, ruhig, direkt am ruhigen Strand. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Transfer zum Pier kostenlos, Restaurants in der Nähe fussläufig zu erreichen.

Zwischendurch mal kurzer Stromausfall oder fehlender Wasserdruck immer sofort behoben
