Kyo no Ondokoro NISHIJIN VILLA #5

Amazing facilities, beautiful property, a real attention to detail in terms of both design and amenities. It was extremely homely and comfortable for our large group, and easily the best property I had ever stayed in in Kyoto. The beautiful thing is that the property is also run by a prominent hotel chain in Kyoto, so the cleanliness of the property, stocking of provisions and quality of towels, hairdryers, bathrobes and amenity kits were superb. The bus stops nearby were also well connected to the main tourist areas (direct lines; no changes required).

The location is a little bit far from the main tourist areas in Kyoto, and there is no train station within walking distance - however, this was easily resolved through our use of taxis.

房子很大、小孩子躲貓貓、非常開心

住民宿管理太不專業、未提供良好的服務。已經告知下午4點check in, 當天下大雪、民宿未提前開暖氣, 地暖需要較長時間才能溫暖、所以我們穿著大外套、在寒冷的房子裏熬了5個小時。另外Booking上登錄的取鑰匙地址是錯的、幸好我們是包車、司機幫忙打電話找地址。這個錯誤已經很久了、一直未更正、我對管理人員非常失望。

周邊走路5分鐘內有便利商店，藥妝店，與餐廳，非常便利，到所有觀光景點都是約20分鐘內的車程

有電視但非常小，需要一台大一點的電視，WIFI速度很慢與訊號也需加強，只有在餐廳的部分收訊較好，2樓與其他房間收訊都很差幾乎收不到。

This is an exceptional property. Every property we stayed in Japan was great but this was truly exceptional for the traditional Japanese villa decorated with modern equipments and artwork. Little things like the cutlery to the home bath spa, the art deco, the door knobs and the wash cloth and definitely the Japanese gardens ...we loved it all. Thank you for giving us a truly unique experience in Japan.

Amazing design house, every single detail is taken care off. Quiet location.
