Kalvín Restaurant & Pension

The room was much smaller than it seam in the pictures. They had nothing translated in english, the tv was not working and because it was in slovakian I didn’t know how to fix it

Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast and very good restaurant. Restaurant is not the Michelin level of course but you can find a good food at reasonable price like pizza or salat. We had an apartment which was quite big, very clean and good equipped. Staff was very helpful and immediately respond on my request (printing a documents, iron and ironing table etc) Very good experience at reasonable price

Super friendly host, pets welcome, super food in the restaurant.

Walls are to thin, not well sound isolated so you hear everyone walking to the hall.

Breakfast was OK ...... prefer buffet rather than a la carte. Limited offerings. Bed was a bit hard. Security was good and location was quiet.

Skylight blinds didn't cover whole gap ...... let in quite a bit of light above the bed.

Pillows In the morning hard to find something around, even breakfast available there was no one physically around - felt strange

We absolutely loved our stay! It was clean, comfortable, with all facilities you need. The host Matej was super super kind and spoke very good english. The breakfast was great! We loved the restaurant aswell, we went for dinner each day of our stay and loved it, also they have very affordable prices! Another plus is private parking with a fence! The only thing that could be a problem for some guests that, the only way to the rooms are stairs. And the rooms have a bit thin walls so you can hear other guests in other rooms. But it didn't bother us at all. We will definitely come back next year!!
