Good accommodation at a great price

Room was fine, bed big and ac was efficient. Nice to have a small pool just outside the door. Bathroom is a small wet room. Our shower had only hot water, too hot to use. Staff were pleasant and helpful

Sheets thin, towels stained & rough-did not use!

It’s ok for a short stay the prices are nice but overall that’s about it They have a cool pool, which is a big plus

Great for one night! Staff was very kind. Bathroom was a bit stark but again, only stayed for one night. Lots of dining options in the area!

With a great location being so close to the airport I stayed 3 nights at Angkul and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. With the option for breakfast,a beautiful pool, walking distance to the beach and incredibly hospitable staff, I would highly recommend this place!

Hotel is small and looks nice. Well located: 5 minute taxi from the airport (by car; 15 mins by foot); 5 mins walk from Jerman beach. Rooms were simple but clean, comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. However it loses points for noise - all rooms are situated around the open courtyard with pool, and there was a group of people chatting and laughing into the early hours of the morning and the sound just carried. Very disturbing. Our room was also on the main road, so noise from both sides! Luckily we were jet lagged and exhausted so eventually slept. Breakfast is also a bit basic. Price was cheap, so it’s fine for a night if you’re catching a flight but not for an extended stay.

It's not often that I get heckled by other guests, but when I do it is always my pleasure to wish them a wonderful day. Hotel was A for exactly what's advertised.

My room was on first floor and it was so noisy! I don’t know if it was the water tank or the air conditioner but it was hard to sleep in that much noise. The staff was friendly though.
