Lombok Marina by MDR

It has a stunning waterfront location. It's a good size outdoor swimming pool. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The water is without salt and there's hot water too. The free drinking water refills are welcome.

Generally, I feel it's too expensive for what you get. It feels like the place has seen better days, and the pool is not that clean and the large sun lounger mats are also dirty. There's no beach, and there's also rubbish from the sea piling up on the adjacent strip of sand, not that far away from the pool & gym. You also feel a bit stuck here because it's too far from the main parts of the rest of the island (there's no road access to here) - 2 nights was enough time here for me. I braved the dark track to get to the two other lower priced eateries each evening, but remember your phone torch and watch out for swooping bats!

Excellent location, good service, amazing views of course being a Marina. Peaceful. Rooms comfortable - outside deck space. Pool and outdoor gym also at the property. Unfortunately didn’t have long enough there, but if you want something quiet, away from the hustle of crowds - this is it. Great standard of accommodation on Lombok.

The harbour and the common aera were decent. The breakfast was good.

I’m ok with basic rooms, but this ain’t that. - The rooms are poorly maintained (lots of cracks and holes) wasn’t like the photo at all lol - It was clearly not cleaned before our arrival (full of thick dust on the furnitures, dead bugs on the floor, toilet lid and sink full of old stain). I asked the staff to please go clean the bathroom again while we were having lunch outside, but they did nothing. - The bed sheet were with stains and my pillow was all moldy under the pillow case - They were burning rubbish in front of the rooms and it was smelling very bad in the room - The lid of the « drinkable » water they give us was moldy - The location isn’t great if you don’t have you’re own boat
