Hôtel Uville Montréal

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Uville for four nights, on our first trip to Montreal. It was lovely in many ways. We have stayed in all manner of accommodations, from luxury to rustic, and we would definitely stay again. The location was perfect; close to the action in Old Montreal, but also tucked away next to a quiet park and within walking distance of so much (in all directions). The room was not fancy, but it was spacious, had everything we needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating; every time we had a question or a request, they seemed happy to help and provided valuable counsel. After hearing so much about the Expo 67 during our visit, it was fun to have an image in the hallway of the manmade islands being built for the expo. As a bonus, when we were not ready for a full breakfast, the pastry box was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We chose Hôtel Uville for our first trip to Montreal after reading many positive reviews, and it was a perfect fit. The location is excellent—set in a quiet part of Old Montreal but within easy walking distance of museums, restaurants, and all the key sights. The hotel and room layout pay tribute to Montreal’s Expo 67, with many items from the 1967 fair on display, which gave the place a unique character. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a king bed, a small bathroom featuring a walk-in rain shower, and even a record player with vintage vinyl albums—a fun touch. The daily breakfast basket was a highlight: fresh croissants, cheese, and juices delivered to the room each morning. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. There’s convenient parking nearby on the pier for $55 per day, which worked well for us. The only drawback was the limited storage space for clothes, which might be an issue on a longer stay. For our three nights, though, it wasn’t a major problem. Overall, Hôtel Uville is a charming, well-located boutique hotel that made our Montreal visit even more enjoyable. Would happily stay again.

Spent three nights at this hotel at the start of our holiday. Nice location and ideal for onward journey via cruise ship. Enjoyed the breakfast delivery every morning and consuming same in room. I found all the staff very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much bother. I would certainly recommend a stay.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was clean, charming, and every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Hugo even helped us get our bags to the port for our cruise. Tea in the small cafe was excellent, as were the pastries. The continental breakfast was juice, croissants, jam, and fruit bars. Stay here and you will love it!

Charming hotel on a beautiful quiet boulevard. Pleasant and helpful staff.
