Harbour House

the hosts Gaynor and Alan are very friendly. the location is close to everything but was very quiet. the breakfast was exceptional...cooked to order with high quality ingredients. the room was very clean and well maintained

I asked for a less heavy quilt on the bed and Gaynor did what she could but I was still too hot

Room was a little small but comparing the time we were in there this was not a problem.

.. faultless. Exceptional clean.. no need for shoes. Warm & welcoming. Extremely comfortable bed & pillows! Perfectly located for exploring Weymouth. Perfect breakfast. Very accommodating hosts with a true flair for making you feel very welcome.

Easy access, really well hosted, parking permit made the weekend stay super easy for logistics.

We had a lovely stay. Harbour house is clean, tidy and the rooms are light and modern. The breakfasts are superb. Allan and Gaynor can't do enough for their guests. It's a great location near to good pubs , restaurants and of course the Harbour itself. Won't stay anywhere else when we return to Weymouth in the future

Nothing to dislike

Good coffee and great variety of fresh and cooked options at breakfast. Alan was a great host and other guests at breakfast were very interesting and provided "food for thought".

Gaynor & Alan greeted us very warmly on our arrival just after 1pm. She gave us a choice of two rooms & the one we chose (room 4) was just enough for our needs, double bed, wardrobe, fans, tea/coffee, opening sash window, small bathroom but manageable & a very comfy bed & pillows. Breakfast, which was the full English, in my opinion was probably the best tasting & cooked I've ever had, all cooked & tasted perfect, with toast, cereal, or fruit if you preferred, tea, coffee, orange all available....compliments to Gaynor. The Maitre D...Alan was a font of knowledge of the area, being born here in Portland. He chatted away to us during breakfast & broke the ice for all guests, so it felt like you were all mates by the end. My wife's parents were staying in another guest house (as no rooms left in this one at the time of booking) Theirs did not do breakfast, so Gaynor kindly offered to cook them breakfast for two mornings for a small fee, they were so happy with it & grateful. Would definately stay here again, perfect location by the harbour. We left feeling like we had made a couple of friends.
