Harbour House

Gayner and Alan were very welcoming the perfect hosts,hotel was very clean like home from home . Breakfast was lovely,loved the fact we were sat around a big table lovely to get to know other guests,lovely experience. Room was very spacious,comfortable and clean plenty of tea and coffee options,we slept so well,plenty to do near by, being near the harbour and beach everything within walking distance like shops,bars and restaurants. Definitely highly recommend,we will be returning again next year. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Nothing to dislike

On arrival Gaynor showed us our rooms,& carried one of our cases up the stairs for us.Breakfast was different to other hotels as all the guest sat around one big table,we thought this was a bit strange at first, but the host Alan made it enjoyable,he told us stories about his army days & even let my husband play his guitar 🎸. Alan also did a card trick, he said that he has a shop in Weymouth called headleys of Weymouth which has two motorbikes in it .Breakfast was cooked perfectly by Gaynor & fresh produce as the butcher bought sausage whilst we were eating breakfast.The two rooms that we had were very clean .

Room 7 could have done with a blind in the bathroom.

Room was clean and bed really comfortable, breakfast was very good and location excellent.

Room was a bit small and with wash hand basin located in the bedroom felt a bit strange. Also breakfast was a bit regimental with everyone seated around one large table.

Excellent location, lovely room, delicious breakfast!

The location was excellent the view from our room was brilliant. Gaynor and Alan made us feel very welcome and the breakfast excellent The place was very clean

Although we were a bit worried about the breakfast situation having to sit with strangers at a large table but it turned out OK Alan made it very enjoyable he's a great character full of interesting stories and very friendly so that plus Gaynors lovely breakfasts worked out great

Booked for my Grandparents. The rooms were very clean and the owner was really friendly. Great location. They will be back.

Rooms very fresh, modern and clean. Really well thought out in terms of amenities in the room. Comfy bed too. Breakfast was very social and good food.

As with most hotels in the area, lots of stairs, so check with the owners if you have any mobility issues to avoid 3rd or 4th floors.
