"Do not recommend this hotel"

I would not recommend this hotel for school groups. They are not very accommodating for busses. We were told we could not park our bus in the hotel parking lot and were to park it on the street which is was an active road with traffic. We choose not to do that and parked it in the parking lot taking up 4 parking spaces on the side of the hotel. Which keep in mind we had 4 rooms at the hotel for our group. We were called and woke up at midnight asking to move the bus they were out of parking spots. We ended up moving the bus after being woke up and parked the bus at the entrance of the hotel, but the next morning those same 4 spots the bus was parked in were still open at 6:00am. Also keep in mind there were two other cars with trailers there parked in parking lot that were not asked to move and they were taking up 3 parking spots each. I do not recommend this hotel for school groups or large groups. We stay at several hotels a year with our group and have never been treated like that before by a hotel. Also check in process was not good either. We booked our rooms two month or more in advance and at check in we were informed we could not get one of our rooms as a suit since they had run out and had to take a standard room.

No room service one day. Nothing at all and left untouched. With paying this much per night at Holiday Inn I expect room service every day. This is unacceptable Holiday Inn.

Hotel is less than 5 years old and is SO 21 century. Plenty of electrical and USB outlets. Lighting is everywhere in the room. The downside is the once vibrant strip mall and indoor mall across the street. Vacant store fronts and stores going out of business.
