Hyatt Place Waco

Ein super schönes Hotel, alles sauber, ordentlich und modern eingerichtet. Großes und geräumiges Zimmer. Blick vom 4. Stock superschön. Die Größe des Innenpools ist ausreichend und dieser Bereich war ebenfalls sehr sauber. Allerdings schlicht in Beton gehalten. Mich störte es nicht. Das Frühstück war gut und hatte eine gute Auswahl.

The shower was the best. Clean rooms friendly staff.

They lack toddle & kid facilities like kids high chair not available in hotel. No in house restaurant. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

I usually love this property but not this time

I requested pillows with no feathers and received a confirmation email stating that would be no problem as the many times prior. This trip I even brought my mom for her birthday and when we checked in our room smelled like it had not been cleaned there was still dirt on the floor and the pillows I had requested because of allergies was not there. I went to the front desk and was told that they were booked and couldn’t move me. They also stated that they saw the request but couldn’t find the pillows so they called the manager and emailed her with no response so I asked for them to let me know in time and I would go purchase some but after 2 hours I went back down stairs and by that time they had had shift change and explained to me that the manager still had not called back. The girl who was on the night shift was the only person who actually showed she cared and she gave me 2 towels in a pillow case and that was what I slept on the first night. I was assured that the manager would be reaching out to me but I never received any contact from her. Then they promised that when I came back for our second night that our room would be cleaned and the pillows would be there but when we got back they had just put the same feather pillows back on the bed along with the makeshift pillow we had made the night before. I was still trying to not leave a bad review but I have now been home for 2 days and I still haven’t received any calls or emails from the manager and as someone who travels and stays there often paying almost $200 this was an awful experience

This was my first time staying at a Hyatt hotel. It was a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely look for Hyatt hotel when traveling from now on. Everything was top notch: the beauty of the building, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the bedroom. Especially the mattress comfort.
