The place is nice, it’s on a hill so the view is pretty.

- We rent a scooter when we first arrived and they gave us one that had really bad breaks, they didn’t work properly. Also they gave us two helmet that couldn’t be locked. We asked for other helmet and they say they would have asked the owner but never gave us anything. We asked if we could have another scooter and they told us that they would have given it to us “later” and never happened. Everytime we asked the girl at the reception said that the owner wasn’t there and she couldn’t do anything. - The hot water in the shower didn’t work. We asked on the first day and they fixed it but the next day it didn’t work again. In 4 days we couldn’t take a decent shower. - We found a lot of geko faeces around the room and on the second night we found a really big geko in the room. It was around 9pm and we had to change room. The second room was a little bit better in terms of construction and cleaning but still we found faeces. - The room and bathroom were not properly clean. The bed curtains are full of stain. Also the building itself is poorly constructed, any kind of insect or reptile can enter in the room through the roofs and from the bathroom.

Affordable, comfy bed, nature and the view is my favorite.

Cleanliness of the comfort room can be improved.

Nice view to Agung Mountain. Convenient placement not far from ferry port to Bali

This is one of the best accommodations I have ever been to: the location is stunning, there is a beautiful view of the sea and mount Agung from the balcony of your house, where you can have breakfast. The cottages are very beautiful and surrounded by nature. It's very quiet at night, which is rare in such fairly touristy places. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed and towels arranged in a very nice way with flowers when I arrived. The staff were really nice and super helpful: they got a scooter for me, arranged my laundry to be washed, they arranged a snorkeling tour and arranged my transport to and from the harbour with a very lovely driver. The breakfast was delicious and could be arranged at a time that suited me. The location is about 5-10 minutes drive from the main street, which can be done easily by anyone with scooter experience. If you don't have scooter experience this may not be the place to start because the hill is a bit steep, but the road is in good condition and there is no traffic. I actually found it quite relaxing to drive back home through these quiet roads. It's also fine to drive back here in the dark, just a bit slower. I had a wonderful time here and wish I could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak Hotra Hill!

There was a spider on the bed on my arrival day. This is the risk of staying in such a natural environment I suppose and there are no dangerous insects here, but if you are a bit scared of spiders be aware the cottages are made of wood and insects can get in easily. The staff removed the spider for me immediately and there is a mosquito net that you can use at night to sleep more soundly.

The location is near to Buyuk harbour. And in center to both the West and Eastern side of the popular spots. And, on top of all, the host/owner is so kind, helpful in every ways. Everything in a great budget! Please give a shot.
