Bandon Marina Inn

Location was right in the center of town. The bed was comfortable. TV a decent size and the room had wine glasses and a wine opener.

If you have alot of luggage, don't stay here or make it clear you want the 1st floor. Stairs are very steep and walk way is like a small alley. Being vision impaired, the hotel lacked outside lighting. I could never have got to the stairs and down then without my husband. The room was a decent size. No air conditioning and they supply a 10 inch fan. We had to have the windows open all the time and it was raining and very windy the days we were there. If you want quiet, this is not the place. The unit above us, which we didn't know there was a unit above us. When they walked around it sounded like critters walking on the roof. Floor boards upstairs creak something bad. With the windows open the delivery trucks in the morning would wake us up. The bathroom was large but the shower was very small, almost the size of a porta potty. No counter space but there was a shelving unit you could place your items on. Overall, not a hotel I would stay at again.

Loved the decor. It was clean and cozy. Felt like a sunny, country Inn. Really enjoyed the room.

We did not actually meet any staff. They sent us a room code when we did the online check-in. Unfortunately, they sent us the wrong code. When we arrived, we could not open the door. We called the trouble number we were given, but got a recording. Left a message but no call back received. We waited awhile outside the door in the pouring rain, and then called again. This time, the call was answered, we got the correct code, and got into the room. After that, all was fine. The room was great.

Convenient Parking area outside the Inn. Coffee shop on other side of parking lot. Lovely multi level apartment on the 1st floor of the building with kitchen and bathroom on 1st floor and lounge on a mezzanine level, with 2 bedroom alcoves on floor above. Lovely comfortable lounge area and full kitchen.

Loved the room and the location is central to Old Town Bandon. I’m not quite sure why places like this don’t offer daily housekeeping though. Dirty towels build up on the floor, trash needs emptying and after multiple days, floor needs sweeping from the sand brought in from the beach. It’s not just this property, it’s many. Otherwise our stay was great and we’d come to this Inn if visiting again.

Cute little hotel next to the shops, port and restaurants. I only booked 1 night but I wish I had booked 2 nights so we could have explored more of the city and the beaches.

Attentive/responsive and problem solving. Answers calls quickly. Had issue with door code, tried several options and then had backup key. Took less than 5 mins to solve.
