Anne’s House

The owners, Mike and Olivia make your stay here memorable. Beautiful home with only 2 rooms that make your stay feel special. Excellent breakfast, and we were offered tea and cake each afternoon. The house is full of family history and beautiful antiques, but it still feels fresh and modern.

An absolute gem. Beautiful house with beautiful art - a comfortable living room to read a book in, a gorgeous dining room to enjoy breakfast in, and a beautiful bedroom with exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing and the owners took care to accommodate my gluten free needs. The couple that owns the house is a delight to interact with and our overall experience allowed us to get a glimpse into English life while exploring nearby countryside and towns. We had originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying 2 (would have stayed longer if there was availability). The house is also in a great location for both city exploration and nearby towns, castles and gardens.

Michael & Olivia were superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They both have a wonderful nature and are very attentive, which made our stay relaxing. Their home was beautifully presented and the breakfast was plentiful & delicious. Location was within easy walking distance to both beach and town(s) Highly recommend

The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. The breakfast. The decor was in character with the house and gave the house a friendly cosy feel. The extra little touches like fresh milk in the room for cups of tea and home baked cookies in the room.

I cannot think of anything we did not like about our stay at Anne's House.

Olivia and Michael welcome you into their beautiful period home. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished. A very comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep. Excellent breakfast - a wide choice of locally sourced ingredients beautifully prepared and presented. The house is situated within walking distance of the beach, the Old Town, and a wide choice of good restaurants.

Absolutely everything was perfect. Beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. Charming hosts and quiet location. Couldn’t have been better!

Michael and Olivia were excellent hosts and the breakfast was superb.

The accommodation was extremely well furnished and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfasts were superb, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the selection of jam, marmalade and honey to accompant toast and croissants. We especially liked the varied selection of books in the bedroom and in the lounge and would have liked more time to read them!

The hills in Hastings - but I don't thnk the hosts could do anything about that!!

Absolutely delightful accommodation! Owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of additional touches to make you feel at home. Will definitely be going back, thank you
