We consistently stay at Holiday Inn Express, here and abroad. We had an excellent experience in Madrid. We were looking forward to the breakfast before a big day, but it was really terrible.

The orange juice was 90+ percent water. The bacon was burnt and totally flavorless. The oatmeal was like soup. The omelettes were overdone. None of the prepared foods were enjoyable at all.
