D&S - Porto São Bento Apartments III

The location is fantastic, on a narrow side street right beside the Time Out Market and San Bento. The cathedral is steps away as are many of the beautiful vistas in Porto. The apartment was well stocked with all the basic amenities and was located beside the rental agency which was convenient for questions, etc. We loved the little balconies for coffee in the am.

Our grown daughters slept on the pull out couch. Unfortunately the slat under their hips was missing resulting in a poorer than hoped sleep.

The room is nice, has enough space and cute details. We didn't use the kitchen, but I would say it has everything you need for a short stay. The location is great. The staff is very friendly an it is a very clean.

The bathroom is missing a shelf for cosmetics, a glass for toothbrush, a soap dish and towel hooks.

Fantastic location. 2 minute walk to Sao Bento train station and 5 minute train ride to Campahna station. We did severl day trips out of Porto and the proximity to the train station made it very easy.The 500 bus to the beach at Matoshinos was just around the corner. Within easy walking distance to the riverfront and other major attractions. Plenty of choice for restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable.

There were no towel racks in the bathroom to hang your towels on.

The location is excellent! You’re literally next door to São Bento train station, Time Out Market, and very centrally placed in the historic city center for walking and exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We liked that it had a balcony that we could sit on, high quality bedding and linens, toiletries, and a well stocked kitchen with stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher plus a good sized fridge. Staff were super friendly and it was no problem to get towels and toilet paper replenished when needed. The housing office is the next door to the apartment, so very convenient. The apartment building felt safe and secure.

We were on the 3rd floor and we had to climb 53 stairs to get there! We weren’t expecting so many and it was a lot for going in and out the whole week. They’re good stairs with handrails, but still! We managed fine, but anyone with mobility or knee issues would do well to ask what floor they’re on.

We did not like the quality of sofa.

For a family of four, it was a bit small.
