Location and very private as there weren't other guests and restaurant was closed Lovely cold pool and private back garden area Beds and bedding were good. Pillows bad. Blood on sheets caused by mosquitoe bites.....tried cleaning ???

Needs a Deep Clean. Counted 11 mosquitoes 🦟 😤 wall full of marks from previous mosquitoe killing ..1 bathroom did not have hot water....other did ...but shower door was broken...SELF CATERING ??? Kitchen very poorly equipped. Not even a spatula to turn our eggs. Salt / pepper ???? Horrible coffee 🤢 Aircon unit made a loud noise at times... at least it worked Could have been a good stay....unfortunately not Equip a SELF CATERING UNIT close to how you have your own kitchen.....there is a reason people book them.

Close to shops. Walking distance to wineries. Pool to cool off in on hot summer days. Friendly helpful host.

Church bell chimes every 15 minutes, but one does get used to it. Braai area has been neglected and no tools to braai with. Some kitchen utensils and crockery were missing and would make ones stay more comfortable.

Big cottage We had it all to ourselves A small private pool Central walking distance to some winery’s and shops We enjoyed eating dinner at the cozy and unusual Zamani Grill.

It’s a bit dated and the church bells ding round the clock. To be fair with the air con it muted the sound.

Cannot comment on location as we did not sleep at Die Dorphuisie, we were taken to another property

We booked at Die Dorphuis to get the real old home feel. But we were notified by owner that the room is no longer available due to the staff that did not pitch for work. He the gave us a on suit room in his back yard, the room was clean but also had spider webs The back yard, braai facility and outside kitchen was dirty and full off webs and spiders We were disappointed in the stay.
