Jurien Beachfront Holiday Units

This property is so outdated. We don’t mind ‘yesteryear’ accomodation at all, but the walls and the floors were so old that it was disgusting to walk barefoot and when we got there, there was sand all over the floor with a dead cockroach. I believe that cleaning had been done beforehand as the beds were all tidy and the kitchen bench etc. was too, but everything is so old that it’s impossible to make it look good. Somehow the pictures on Expedia were misleading as this was not so obvious. There was also three lose tiles in the shower, the toilet brush had poo left on it and the washing machine kept tangling up the clothing and kept stalling. The location itself is great as it’s right opposite the beach, but honestly, the price we paid for eight nights was too high in my personal opinion because everything other than the beds was just grubby and old. We ended up leaving a day early. Check in process was also terrible as we received no prior notes how to gain access, then when we got there the chalet was open and I called the number provided for the property who then gave me the lock code to get the key, however, because we had not been charged for the stay until later the first day and our payment did not go straight through, the owner first threatened to cancel our booking and then went on to tell me that the lady on the phone should not have given me the code for the chalet that was unlocked in the first place…but if a circus really.

Being so close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Place had everything we needed. It was a wonderful atay

Not cleaned, dirty dishes in cupboard, no coffee, flyscreens noisy when windy, we had to take them off,

Lovely location with Jurien Bay.

We stayed 2 nights. The property is quite old, I would say 1960s, however all we needed was available and functional. Easy walk to beach across the road.

Not up to scratch for the price, we expected more than was delivered.

We stayed in the "SEAL" unit which was emaculate! The apartment was very new, clean, quiet and close to everything. There were 2 adults and 2 kids all up staying here so it was perfect for us. The owner of the property was very helpful and very accommodating. We were near the beach, park and skatepark which was a hit for the kids. We easily could walk to grab a feed or a drink aswell. We walked to the beach, had a swim and even watched a pod of dolphins swim near the jetty which was so lovely to watch. The water here is so clear and the sunsets were absolutely beautiful!! All in all we had an amazing stay here and in Jurien Bay. We'd definitly be back and would recommend staying here.

The property was close to the beach and local shops which was good however the property appears old and dated. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay by the beach then it’s ok.

Great location thanx. Property older with windows very ratty in the wind . Bed worn out I think . Otherwise very happy .
