Not easy to find - some clearer directions may have been helpful. Received a warm and friendly welcome with complimentary tea/coffee and cake - outstanding. Room relatively modest and only a small bed but what a view - worth the cost on its own. Nice quality bathroom and bathtub. Breakfast service very slow - around an hour when we wanted to be away.

A first class hotel with lovely friendly staff and great food and service

Stayed overnight for work. Stunning setting with wonderful views from the bedroom. Staff very helpful and they made a delicious bespoke vegan breakfast for us (though dry out for vegan sausages for future visits). The only downside was that the rooms were incredible hot at night meaning we woke up often dehydrated. We opened the windows but that did feel rather unecofriendly. But overall a wonderful place.

It has kept its character with lovely refurbishment . Great to see wheelchair access and large "wet room". I loved the Welsh fabrics and the colour scheme of the room we were in-"Gambia". Delicious breakfast!!

Excellent establishment in a fantastic location. All members of staff we came across were very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom was fantastic - high quality and homely. Would definitely stay there again - soon. Diolch

It was a very comfortable stay although the room was very warm sleeping at night. (Martha Jane) Could not fault the food. We shall return next year.

Would highly recommend. Very friendly, helpful staff. Gave us two glasses of champagne on the house when realised we’d got engaged! Room was lovely, big comfy bed. Gorgeous Molton Brown toiletries. Fanstaic view over small harbour town. Peaceful, chilled. Quiet getaway. Food fantastic, breakfast beautiful (you must try HM beans!)
