Great stay in Hakuba if you’re looking to ski or snowboard in a group. The host was very responsive and is able to arrange for a rental car and recommend gear rentals or even classes for your winter sports activities. The location is also conveniently located at the heart of Echoland, with several food options, gear rentals and convenience shops. The housekeeping was attentive, dry room was spacious and well equipped and kitchen was well equipped too. Highly recommended!

The house was excellent - new and very well maintained. It was also very warm thanks to the heated floors. It has a great kitchen, so we were able to have a few meals in the house after a trip to the supermarket.

The location is definitely less convenient compared to Happo for instance. The host did warn us that renting a car would be the best option, but rental prices during the winter season are somewhat ridiculous. It’s possible to get by with the regular shuttles to the slopes and other areas around Hakuba but it takes a bit of an effort to figure it out.
