Agriturismo Merigge Wellness & Spa Montepulciano

Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. Absolutely perfect location that’s close enough to restaurants, destinations to explore, boutiques, and a well-trafficked train station, while still being quiet and out of the way enough that it allowed us to feel truly immersed in the peaceful and gorgeous environment of Tuscany. My husband and I loved that there were only 6 rooms, so it felt very intimate and quiet—perfect for a relaxing week after the bustle of Rome. Even though it was a bit too chilly to swim in the pool in April due to it being unheated, it was still a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Tuscany and surrounding vineyards and olive groves. I also loved that we could opt to order lunch from the kitchen (which was delicious!) on days when we wanted to have a more chill day and stay onsite for a good chunk of time. Raffaele was an amazing host and was so helpful while we were there. He was able to secure us a rental car that absolutely saved our trip to hen our original reservation fell through (and he got us a discount too!). I would 100000% stay here again.

Beautiful property with stunning gardens (pool was closed when we stayed). Shower had awesome pressure and rooms felt comfortable, stylish and modernized while maintaining historic feel. Owner was helpful with local reservations.

Breakfast service was somewhat frazzled. Location was tricky to get to at night (google maps not always reliable as it guides you to drive on a cow path!). The owners feel like they are new to hosting guests.

Great place is tuscany! This was our favorite spot and we will return again! I would make this our base next time. Everything was super!!!!

Very special location with incredible views in the heart of Tuscany. Comfortable and clean. Wonderful hosts. This was the highlight of our trip to Italy.

What can we say about the most beautiful place on earth? This place in Tuscany is simply spectacular and the owners are the best of the best. There is nothing they will not do for you. We can’t wait to return. One of our favorites in the whole world!

We felt so comfortable and welcome at this great agriturismo with just 6 rooms. The owner Rafaele was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed in their one suite room which has a terrace balcony, and highly recommend it. This is a great location to explore the Tuscany hill towns like Montepulciano, Pienza, Montacino, Siena, and Orvieto — all less than an hour drive away.

Beautiful Agriturismo Merigge! Would definitely stay again. Updated, extremely clean, beautiful landscape, Raffaele and his wife are wonderful hosts.
