PALAIS LARAICHI Riad la porte bleue suites

We had a very spacious and comfortable room with a large bed and a sofa. Small but clean bathroom. The building was cozy and nicely decorated. Friendly staff.

The breakfast was nice but a bit monotonous as we stayed a full week and there was no variation. Also we missed a bit of fresh fruits. But just a minor remark and only applicable if you would stay multiple days.

Todo me gustó, sin excepción! El trato inmejorable, gente muy amable , las instalaciones de 10 , elegimos una habitación cualquiera y ellos tuvieron el detalle de llevarnos a la suite de la Riad. El desayuno siempre muy abundante. Es un ambiente cálido y amable que lo recomiendo 100%.

Abdul is a true gentleman. I had my wallet and passport stolen in CasaBlanca and Abdul helped me with money exchange hailing taxis and much more. The riad is traditional and comfortable, but Abdul's help for a distressed traveller meant more than words can say! Thank you Abdul, I will never forget your kindness!

I struggled to find the riad. Just a general comment about taxis in Morocco - journeys go a lot more smoothly if you let the taxi driver use your Google maps app!

The property was close to the Batha Museum and the Medina. Very good central location. It was beautifully ornate and clean and they treated us like family. Abdullah Latif couldn’t do more , making us teas and orange juices and we had so many complimentary goodies like fruits and biscuits and dates. The meals we had at the Riad were delicious and freshly cooked. They really spoiled us and gave us a beautiful gift as we were leaving after 5 nights stay. The room was warm as it was winter. They helped with everything we asked for. Really lovely family who run the hotel. The boss spoke French and his children communicated in perfect English with us. If it was raining they gave us umbrellas. It’s was such personalised and thoughtful service. They even gave us discounts on the meal as we were staying there. Lovely Riad

We had a great stay at Palais Laraichi. It is located just outside the Medina but easy walking distance, which is great because the palais is accessible by taxi and easy to find but then it is easy to visit the medina by foot. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Badar welcomed us and organised a guide for us for the medina the next day - in whatever language we preferred. Abdullah provided attentive and friendly service in the reatautant and helped us link up with our transfer to Fes the morning that we left. We felt really welcome and at ease at the Palais Larraichi. Badar even spent time chatting to us at the tea house next door one afternoon, sharing stories of his life growing up in Morocco. The meal we had in the restaurant there was delicious. The tagine kefta was the best I have had in Morocco - slightly more spicy than usual and just how Badar's mother used to make it. We highly recommend staying at Palais Larraichi. Spend the time to talk to the staff (in englosh, french, arabic, not sure what others ...) and you will benefit greatly from their love of their country and thwir hospitality.
