An incredible location, wonderful views, very lovely hotel staff , from reception to restaurant to spa. We had an incredibly relaxing time , enjoying the beautiful infinity pool as well as trips to the Edakkel Caves and Phantom Rock. The food was delicious and a fabulous range of dishes. We really enjoyed the walk up the hill in the hotel grounds, following afternoon tea, to Paradise viewpoint to take in the sunset.

A superb experience from start to finish! The smiling staff were all super attentive and helpful. Our room (Royal Comfort Suite) was huge and gorgeous. The breakfast and dinner buffet meals were delicious and plentiful. We had two wonderful massages in the spa. We also enjoyed playing games, swimming in the beautiful pools and wandering around the gorgeous grounds. High tea at 5 o’clock on our day of arrival made a spectacular start, and a short climb up to the sunset viewing point made a wonderful end to our stay. We also recommend a visit to the local flower gardens at Ambalavayal Poopoli and the Edakkal Caves.

We would have loved a sunset cocktail, but of course alcohol is not served (as is typical for Kerala). Better for our health at least!

Our Deluxe room was very spacious and clean. New Year’s Eve dinner was delicious and plentiful. Gardens are beautifully kept with stunningly flowers. We were shown the way to a good hike up a steep rock just near the property, which is not for everyone as descent requires holding on to rope as slippery with dust on way down.

Advertised as tranquil honeymoon and a luxurious resort, it was anything but. Yes, the rooms are spacious and the resort is very clean and well kept, but there’s nothing tranquil for a couple wanting a romantic escape. Our room was above the restaurant and past 9:30 there was staff singing (very badly) to karaoke backing tracks. The room also faces on to the children’s playground, with kids screaming well past 9pm. Upon asking to move due to my wife’s disability we were kindly offered another room; except we would have to move on our second night: which was unclear why, as it was the same room type. We were told other rooms had potential same issues, including the biodomes which we are told have poor sound insulation. In the end, we just put up with the noise. Through the day there’s constant elevator type music playing through the resort; everywhere. So ignore the dream of listening to the birds or just quiet. Staff at restaurant is both over crowding (taking away plates before you have finished eating and looking at all times to see if they can help so you feel watched!) and unable: I asked for cappuccino and got tea and for Diet Pepsi or Coke got full fat Sprite. It’s one of those where they don’t say no and offer you a choice: they say yes and give you whatever. Same with asking for Naan and getting chapatti. They are very helpful. As long as you want what you are given, rather than being given what you want. Finally, our driver had to park kilometres away, down the hill from the hotel, which was an inconvenience having to wait for our car to arrive every time we wanted to go out. The site is already pretty full and they are building more domes and more buildings. This is a good family resort for people with kids around 8-14 years of age. Kids would have plenty to do without adults or in the company of fit grandparents (hills everywhere) around the property and the atmosphere is perfect for that. But it’s not tranquil.

Cleanliness, humble yet professional staffs who are highly helpful and surprisingly the view with lush greenery hills plus the property being surrounded with so many plants and trees and greenery, yet couldn’t find any bugs or insects whatsoever, which made my stay very relaxed and refreshing and peaceful.

It’s in the peak of hill, location was good, staffs r obident but there is no complementary snacks at evening. Pool, play ground, garden, greenery everything was super but want to improve in gym. Food is good but still need to improve in taste.

Calling me more than 6 times when I will arrive They disturb me alot Hotel policy sending reminders to me through the booking that i have to pay half amount to guarantee my booking, this is not acceptable hotel management should trust booking.com for each reservation I will raise this concern to booking team about this policy Housekeeping team should confirm all the stuff available in the room like slippers face towels why I should call them to bring for me This is 5 stars hotel not 3 star or 2 star
