Needs a bit investment to improve the facilities, all seems a bit worn out.
The location of the Guest House was what attracted us. It is right on the Makerere University campus, which is like an oasis in the middle of the busy city of Kampala. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms, however, seem somewhat neglected - TVs didn't work, night stand and dresser drawers weren't accessible due to furniture placement or were simply in bad shape. Some nights were very loud due to new guests arriving or people talking just outside our room. We liked the atmosphere on campus, though.
