Bed bugs. Had to move. Owner assured me this was subsequently dealt with.

Stay away from here...I arrived Friday the 6th of October was ment to stay 2 nights but found the room was invested with bed bugs..the owner came up and he asked me to move upstairs but due to a injury I said I couldn't. I said I'd leave coz there were no other rooms on my floor. I said about a refund he said one night so I said I wasn't happy with that as I never staied 1 night. I was on the phone at time and my caller mentioned environmental health and this is were the owner changed . He said I wasn't getting anything from him to take it up with Booking.com which was no help offering me £17 out of my £118 .I called him Monday the 9th he told me he'd speak to his Co owner and I was to call back..now today Tuesday the 10th after him telling me to call back so many times today and blanking the phone he said there was nothing he could do...SO PLEASE DON'T GO HERE

We did not like this accommodation at all.

Terrible beds. Mattresses need renewing. Room not cleaned properly. Dead Butterflies on windowsill. Found a previous residents prescribed medication.in bedside drawer. Medication was dated 2022. Out of date coffee on the complimentary tray in room. Heating not working in room. They tried to fix it but couldn't. Woke in morning and nearly tripped over electric heater that had been placed right outside our door. Shared bathroom,we knew about this but didn't realise we would have to share it with people from the floor above. Their shared bathroom had an out of order sign on it. Really feel Booking.com should do a spot check on this establishment.

This is a building that was used to house homeless people.this business should be removed from booking.com.booking.com reputation is St risk if this is the kind of establishment they are promoting.

The whole experience was bad from the booking in to leaving

This is a cheap and cheerful B&B. The man who runs the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. The location is excellent just opposite the train station. From the reviews, I expected my time here to not be so good. We were very last minute.com and there was nowhere else to stay at this price. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately the pub next door does bring it down a little as this is pretty rough.

Remote location, externally friendly and accommodating staff.

Water pressure was a little low in the shower and water was slightly colder than I expected.

Nothing, not worth half the money, not even a chair in the room, disgusting outside, only saving Grace was polite people in the pub next door
