Cozy Hunstanton caravan sleeps 8 pets go free

The host was reasonable and refunded us for our issues .The location of the caravan is in a nice part of the site not too close to the reception

The caravan states it is for 8 people yes 8 people can sleep in here however there is not enough room for 8. Only 6 seats to watch tv and only 4 to eat at the table. The caravan only has 1 toilet which is very hard to flush . The caravan is meant to be a family accommodation accepting children but it was not the best for young children with a broken step to get into the caravan a toilet they arnt able to flush broken cupboards and curtain rails.

during our one full day at the caravan the gas ran out, we had not heating or hot water for about 3 hours. We had to scrap our plans for the day as we had to wait in for the gas bottle to be replaced and the boiler checked. shower was very poor, ok if you were very small! beds were uncomfortable too

Site was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Owner responded quickly to messages and did try to resolve issues during our stay.

Caravan is looking tired and dated compared to the photos in the listing. We had no hot water for at least half of our stay because the gas bottle had run out and no one had realised. The host did send someone out straight away but surely gas should be checked before guests arrive to avoid this? It took a long time for the replacement to arrive and boiler be reset which ruined our plans for the day. Facilities were poor - stated toiletries provided but these were soap and a toilet roll, no oven glove in the kitchen, oven didn't work, dishwasher didn't clean the dishes, no guide to explain how to work things or how to check out etc. Crockery in the cupboards was dirty. Wifi was intermittent. Door was very difficult to lock and unlock. Single beds in 2 of the bedrooms really only suitable for children - very small and not very comfortable Many of these issues have been reported before in previous reviews from several months ago but evidently have not been addressed. Overall disappointing.

There were bed bug. My family and I woke up covered in bites. We messaged the property to tell them but they haven’t even had the decently to reply. On top of the bed bugs the caravan itself is really grubby.

Nice to have the linen and towels provided.

Not enough seating for the family to sit around the table. Would have preferred an extra toilet. The fact that to join entertainment/ restaurant/pool we had to pay £17 for each person (6) so was a hefty supplement . I understand that owners are given 10 passes to distribute.

Layout of caravan ideal for 5 family 3 adults 2 children

To enjoy the park all private caravan hires have to pay to use park facilities. The clubhouse had to buy passes just to enter or buy drinks from the onsite bar if booked through park comes included that I find unfair

Oven didn’t work, no light in shower room, door was really hard to lock, no umbrella for seating outside, blind in toilet broken, beds very uncomfortable

Lovely location, clean and everything ready as stated. Communication with agent prompt and very helpful.
