Gute Lage mit schönen Ausblick auf die Stadt.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist verbesserungsfähig. Kaffee schmeckt nicht so gut, die Auswahl (Wurst, Käse und Brotsorten) ist nur ausreichend.

The fassade of the building is nice. It raised our expectations that the hotel crushed later on. Calling it a " Palace " is a very generous use of the word....but more about that on the what we didn't like about it section.

Oh boy...where to start. Time stopped here in the 60's and from there the glory of the place just faded day by day. The hotel is strongly catering for geriatric Russian and east German guests and maybe this is the best way to describe the whole situation. If you know,you know...if you fancy post war communist luxury ,this is a stunning living example of vacationing behind the iron curtain. Trying to find your way to the spa feels like solving an impossible escape room in the bowel of the hotel, only to get there and wanting to leave immediately assuming you can find the exit again. Good luck. Followed by a breakfast that followed the Ostblock theme. Don't miss the imperial vegetables and the powdered egg with sweetcorn. A treat for all the senses.

Im Zimmer gibt es keinen löslichen Kaffee, nur Tee.

Die Lage und der Charme der großen Villa. Unsere Suite war sehr schön. Und die Thaimassage ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Beim Frühstück ist deutlich Luft nach oben. Das Bad müsste dringend mal modernisiert werden: sehr hohe, schmale Badewanne mit einem nicht gerade sauberen Duschvorhang (geht gar nicht mehr).
