Deewanji Ni Haveli

Our stay in the historical Haveli with beautiful mosaic tiles and high ceilinged room was wonderful. The staff, especially Mukeshbhai and Dattubhai were friendly and ever ready to help, be it in arranging transport or recommending places to visit or to eat. Worth a visit if you are a history buff.

The location is in a narrow lane in the old city and close to the bustling traditional markets. It can sometimes be difficult to find transport.

This renovated heritage hotel is located in the historical area of Ahmedabad. You can see all the wonderful things that were done to repair and make it like new. The service was very nice, always accompanied by a smile. It was hard to reach because of narrow roads and lots of traffic. And because of this the hotel explains that you had to get off at one road and walk along another road to reach it. I am not writing this as a negative experience because being in the historical part of Ahmedabad is quite different than being in other parts of the city, which we liked very much. We left at 6:45 am for the airport with a taxi us up directly at the hotel with no problem.

The shower. We turned on the switch to heat up the water but it only lasted about a minute, after waiting sometime there was about another minute of hot water.

Second syay here, so lovely and authentic haveli lovingly restored. Friendly staff and delicious food, too! I am coming back!

Need to go up steep steps so would br difficult for some...

Glad that I’ve stayed in a heritage house. Just had an issue with the Uber driver that didn’t wanted to get closer because the streets were small. I had a big room and all was clean. Stayed on the last floor but keep in mind that could be difficult for an old person. Amazing friendly staff

The building is astonishing, a very old haveli that has been sensitively restored. Just being in the building was a memorable experience. The haveli is located in the old city and is a great base for exploring the area. There is a metro stop about a km away which is great for getting around the city. My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, different on all 4 days I was there. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I liked the property very much. Maybe the bedding could be better but not really a problem

The beds could be more comfortable. Mattresses could be more hard which are good for back .
