Good location. Great Japanese style high tech electronic bathtub.

Three rather big problems: 1). The Apple Maps location is 2 miles away and totally wrong. 2) The front desk doesn’t have a phone so if you have any issues you’ll be on your own - see issue 1 above which combined with nobody answering the phone meant we spent an hour wandering aimlessly after a long stint of travel. 3) the room was windowless - there were windows but the glass was frosted as the window faced a wall.

The hotel/ apartment is very secure. The apartment is quite large and comfortable. Offers small luxuries like a hotel .. tea/coffee, toiletries, pyjamas & reception offers free mini pastries every morning & coffee. Location is great, close to transport, Gion, markets etc.

The room/ apartment was clean but we found the bed frame was dusty. I also requested a quiet room but unfortunately only the main sliding door to balcony was double glazed not the smaller windows.. so it was noisey. The staff at reception were sometimes unavailable, even during working hours.

Fantastic hotel. Also in a very convenient location in Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and made me and my friend's stay there fantastic.

Not a big deal, but I wanted to work on my laptop at the kitchen table, but there were no power outlets nearby. The staff very kindly lent me an extension cable, but I'll make sure to bring my own next time.
