Hostal Tlaquepaque

The location is amazing, just minutes from the centro of Tlaquepaque (but far enough for it to still be quiet. The walls must be thick; I didn't even hear music blasting from a restaurant one block over). The bathroom is shared but only among 4 rooms, so it was also empty when I needed it. The place is less like a hotel and more like a house with 5 bedrooms. It's very comfortable. There's a fruit breakfast included and the staff is friendly. The garden out back is a nice place to relax. Also, check-in is at noon, which is much earlier than most places.

I was in the room with 2 twin beds, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

Room was big enough and the bathroom was clean and it has a kitchen

The hostal is in a safe area right at the center of Tlaquepaque. The hostess Claudia is very kind and very helpful, she made us fresh breakfast and gave us lots of good recommendations.

The manager, Claudia, was so incredibly kind and helpful, drew me maps to help me get around, told me the best places to buy beautiful local art at about 1/3 the price of what's available downtown. The hostel is clean & comfortable, and perfectly located to explore Tlaquepaque's vibrant culture & nightlife with just a short, safe walk. I'm so grateful and so glad I stayed here.
