A peaceful, clean, and quiet place at the foot of Cortona. A countryside atmosphere with lots of nature, beautiful olive trees, and flowers. Despite other guests being on the property, there’s plenty of privacy – each guest has their own separate cottage or apartment. We had the smallest unit, but it was perfectly sufficient for two people, and the access to the garden and pool more than made up for the limited indoor space. The view of Cortona is excellent. Easily accessible by car, and we also enjoyed the nearby cycling routes. The owners are kind and discreet, and the cats add even more charm to the place. Highly recommended if you're looking to escape the noise and crowds of the city – while still being just 10 minutes away from the supermarket :)

Small Tuscan heaven with very nice owners, perfect breakfast, great pool, nice view on Cortona....Everything was perfect.

What more can I say which hasn't already been written? Staying at Margherita Holiday Home is like being in a mini luxury resort, but with donkeys! Everywhere you look there is something to discover. From the meticulously maintained garden, to the olive grove, donkey pen, chicken den, roaming cats, swimming pool and the charming apartment. The kitchen has probably everything most enthousiast chefs will need, the bedding is of good quality, the bathroom spotless. On top of that the hosts were warm, welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Try their home grown olive oil. It is divine! Waking up and having my coffee with Cortona in full view is something I won't soon forget. The neighborhood is quiet and just far enough from the main roads. You can even walk to Cortona in about an hour and take in the breathtaking views. I stayed for a week but wished for a month. Thank you again for all your help and our interesting conversations. Great location on an olive farm, good views towards Cortana. If you like to walk good hiking out the front gate. Comfortable and quiet, well equipped with everything we needed to be self contained. Great hosts and cute donkeys to visit.
