CHNice location if you want it quiet. The food in the posada was very good and service very kind. Need a car if you want to go anywhere. Got the big apartment upstairs and a nice view from the terrace.
Recommen to provide a mosquito net. Tab and shower water has a yellow colour and does not smell well. We washed our teeth with mineral water. Near by there is a small shop.

GBPousada Marau is a wonderful place. When we were staying there we had the whole beach for ourselves. We felt very welcome by everyone there. Our host Vas was especially welcoming and was extremely helpful too, booking us a quad bike and helping navigate the location. The only drawback was the drive to get there, however it wasn’t a deal breaker. We were supposed to be staying there for 2 nights however ended up extending for 6 nights. The food and drinks were great and we ended up having all of our meals at the Pousada Marau. The steak and fish stew were the highlights. And also the coco tapioca dessert was especially great. The best dessert we’ve had in Brazil. Would very much recommend.
