A clean decent hotel, beds could be better but over all is not bad

Lets start at the top... internet only works if you stand outside and to the southern end of the property. The staff leave massive bags of trash by entrance on the inside so you get a big smell while looking for internet signal to book another hotel. The beds... you can feel every spring pressing into your bones. There is no internet so forget about cable TV! Only over the air antenna. There is a back entrance into the rooms that the windows are clear and no way to block the view so you have ZERO privacy.

There was nothing I didn't like. You get what you pay for, except I don't think you'll find a better place, or staff, for the price. Extremely clean, well maintained, and new. Sonja does an excellent job keeping the place clean, Felix (owner) is unbelievably nice and attentive, and Manny the same. A mile from the beach, didn't bother me. A nice, quiet, clean, highly affordable hotel in a decent neighborhood with a fun, laid back, "you're among friends and family" type of feel. Highly recommend, will stay there again, and will be back soon!!

It was rated exceptional. I thought that meant accomodations , tho it represented value- and I wouldn't say it was exceptional.

Sin servicio de cable, toallas muy viejas y alberca sucia. No ví que le dieran limpieza ni un solo día. Botes de basura rebosando en la entrada principal que nunca cierra a pesar que dicen cerrar después de 23:00 hrs

Great stay! King-size bed for me and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

I stayed here in June 2020 just as the hotels in the are were re-opening after being closed for 3 months for the pandemic. The 18-room hotel (3 floors, 6 rooms per floor) is new and very clean with tiled floors throughout and a good bathroom and shower (large, rain shower head) with hot water. Each room has a TV, a new AC, and a ceiling fan. The free WiFi worked very well my entire stay. Screens on the windows if you want to open your window at night. There 4 power outlets next to the bed for easy charging of your phone / laptop. A desk to work and a wardrobe with drawers, hangers, and shelves for clothes and books. There's a sink in the bathroom and another larger sink in the main room next to a small electric 2-burner stove top. The only things missing were a kettle and small fridge. The bed is very comfortable with two full body sized pillows. The small swimming pool is kept very clean and there's a patio area to eat by the pool. The property is a bit far from the beach, maybe 20 minutes walking, but that didn't bother me at all. Next door is an OXXO (small minimarket), and it's only 10-minute walk to a huge CHEDRAUI supermarket (perfect location), and maybe a 20-minute walk to Walmart and MEGA supermarkets. The two staff who were present during my stay, Felix and Manuel, were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly, and always made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent value for money and the cleanliness of this newer property.

Amazing Staff, very friendly. The place is very comfortable and clean!! And the price is even better. I will stay there again every time I visit Playa del Carmen.

For the price point , it was a great little hotel, good location and very comfortable bed
