"Last Cabin on the Road"

10.0

This cabin was very large and overlooked Silver Lake. The rooms were comfortable. The deck that overlooked the lake was fun to spend time on; we star gazed a ton! Due to Covid restrictions, the cabin wasn't stocked with spices and other amenities you would normally find in a home such as this but they communicated that information clearly so we came prepared. We had a very difficult time find the cabin; the instructions were not thorough enough so know that it's at the VERY END of the road you are on when heading toward the cabin. It is literally the last cabin and the ONLY cabin with an even numbered address. We also had hoped there would be kayaks or some sort of boat available to use but there wasn't, which was somewhat disappointing since the park associated with the lake didn't offer weekday rentals, again due to Covid. All in all though, we enjoyed our stay and the proximity to Mt Baker, where we had a fun, snow-covered hike!
