Old Town by Bilbao Living

Amazing property with a lovely owner who gave us all the instructions needed and helped with the parking as well. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, very well preserved in the old building. We loved the stay and will definitely come back.

2nd bathroom was small and only suitable for the able bodied.

Excellent location just a short walk from the Old Town. We were there during the Bilbao festival and the Old Town seemed to be the centre of most of the festivities (quite crazy at times, but in a good way); it was the best place to be! The Metro is also only a few minutes walk away to take you most places in Bilbao. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet despite being so close to centre of the action. Aside from the apartment we can definitely recommend the swimming pool at the top of the funicular; the outdoor pool was exceptionally clean and great for kids. Parking was convenient and secure (although slightly harder for us due to the Bilbao festival). Maria, the apartment host, was super helpful on providing useful suggestions. We would DEFINITELY come back here (ideally during the festival (mid to late August)).

The car parking is only accessible via a road through the Old Town, which was closed during our stay (due to the Bilbao festival), so we had to go the wrong way down a one way road for a bit (which the police allowed!), but as a result decided not to use our car at all once we had parked it. That actually turned out to be a blessing as we discovered that the metro was super easy and clean and walking is totally possible from the apartment.

Top flat near the city center but in calm zone, excellent state with good furniture for familly of five, to be te recommended 👍

Great location in a quiet street but still quite close to all attractions in the city center. The flat is spacious with 3 bedrooms , one of them with an additional bed. Everything worked (dishwasher, washing machine, etc). Kitchen fully equipped. We appreciated finding showergel and shampoo available. Super easy to get the metro. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Guggenheim museum is about 15min walk. Maria was a fantastic host. Always available in casebof any question. Very receptive to suggestions. Internet worked perfectly fine. Finally, having the option of a parking spot nearby at an extra charge was very convenient.

The appartement in an old building with wooden floor that makes noise when walking which is normal. Two functional bathrooms, just be mindful space is tight.

Very good communication with the host. Great location. Good arrangement for collecting keys
