The views from the room/balcony over the rice fields and jungle were beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant, despite having limited options, was very good.

The pool was beautiful but there were no sun loungers, only tables and wooden chairs which didn’t allow for relaxing by the pool. Our room was tired looking and although the bedlinen and towels were fresh and clean, the rest of the furniture, sofa, rug and balcony furniture were dirty/grubby and needed a good clean. The property is located in the most beautiful countryside but there is no shop or other amenities nearby and it is totally isolated so I would recommend only coming here if you have your own transport. The hotel doesn’t offer any activities so not much to do other than organising the sunrise trek to mount Ijen , which unfortunately was spoiled by torrential rain and low clouds.

Location is beautiful but has bit difficuties with gojek as they will not pick you up, just drop off.

One of the best stays in our 5 week trip! Very spacious rooms, the hotel area is very well maintained and beautiful! So many places to explore. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They offered us different recommendations, helped with the Ijen tour and other trips.

We were initially very satisfied with the hotel; however, we are now extremely disappointed to find that the level of service is not at all in line with the price we paid. Even if we are currently the only guests staying at the hotel, this does not justify such a lack of service. Given the high rate we paid, we believe it is reasonable to expect at least a basic standard of service. We are both disappointed and surprised by what we perceive as a clear lack of professionalism. This morning, we simply wished to have something to eat before our departure. It is now 11:45 AM, and no one has been able to provide us with anything. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standing. Yesterday, we made an effort by agreeing to have dinner at 6:00 PM to accommodate your schedule. Unfortunately, no similar effort seems to have been made in return today. We would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your swift response.

Der Service und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, engagiert und daran interessiert uns alles Recht zu machen. Um Mängel wurde sich sofort gekümmert wie Ausfall Warmes Wasser oder Strom. Die Anlage ist in der Natur und sehr gepflegt. Im Gegensatz zu neueren Hotels mit höherem Anspruch an die Geldbörse war der Service und das Essen besser.

Stromausfall oder verschwindendes Internet sind häufige Erscheinungen in den von der Stadt abseits gelegenen Gegenden und nicht von den Mitarbeitern zu verantworten. Der Kaffee könnte besser sein und nicht ein Instantkaffee.
