Inn at Millrace Pond

Overall stay is ok for one night. Quite. Shower water temperature is not user friendly, either cold or too hot. Disappointed at Check in process. Need to call to find out where the key is. Password for WiFi is not provided, also need to call to get the pw.

The people both staff and guests were all lovely. Small B&B rooms were a little run down but fine for a one night stay.

Beautiful, historic hotel. Extremely clean rooms, communicative staff, and beautiful grounds. Highly, highly recommend staying here.

TV didn’t work. During the last game of World Series!!! Room dusty, Squished bug on bathroom wall I Did Not Get The Room I Thought I Booked!!!

The check in was a NIGHTMARE. we arrived around 7pm. In the dark, poorly lit entry - door to registration was locked, envelope with key in an outside mailbox. Directions were difficult to read (illegible cursive) and incomplete /unclear. There was a key, but no room number! We literally went from building to building, room to room-- trying to find a door that would open. The phone # on the reservation, "not set up." 20 minutes later: divine intervention. One of the hotel employees happened to come by, and she was able to help us find our way. But by then - there was no turning back on it being a bad experience. Room was clean, but tired & worn. Tiny soap. Tiny! TV was smaller than my computer monitor & we couldn't figure out how to turn it on! Coffee machine in the "parlor" only spurted cold water. The breakfast the next morning... cereal, no (fresh) milk. Apples & oranges. Going from floor to floor to find a working coffee machine (none in dining area). This could be so easily fixed! * a little map included in the envelope for late arrivals. * better lighting - to find our way in the dark, see the (tiny) number on a key. * a working coffee machine on each floor. * empty the trash in the common areas - so it's not overflowing on the floor. * check & discard expired milk! * in the dining room - there's a whole breakfast set up... Take it down! We get it, covid. But it's October. We don't need to see what "could have been" for goodness sake. Location = gorgeous.

The staff were very nice but my stay was disappointing. 1.the address on Expedia is incorrect and it is 30 mils away from the real inn. So we had to drive about 40 miles extra to get there.Cleaneness 2. We got there around 6pm and my reservation was for the quadruple room. I was given the key by the girl at the desk and when we got to the room The queen bed was made but the loft where my kids room was were not made and the room was a mess with video tapes on the floor carpet old and dirty. I called the front desk and the girls came up with the linen and did the beds. Only to find out the next day that house keeping was not included and you need to request for your bed to be made and garbage to be emptyied 3. The room was not safe for kids as part of the loft railing was missing and there was a huge column very close to the queen bed you need to watch out not to hit it if you get up at night.

The hotel is located in a very nice place. Rooms could have better light but were clean and comfortable.

This place is an amazing historic gem. The manager and staff were so nice and accommodating. Top notch customer service. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. Beds were comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for. They provided disinfectant spray, have sanitizer and masks in case you forget or need to re stock. The location was perfect. Can’t wait to visit again!!!!
