People hanging around the entrance in groups smoking, lots of butts on the ground, ashtrays provided but not being used, speaks to the quality of their clientele not the hotel

Noisy after midnight with children running in halls.light coming in from around the door from hallway light. Door seal should be installed would help with noise and light

Met the worst ever receptionist at the hotel, the bar staff were great The room was very nice and clean, but I can’t stress how rude and not helpful the receptionist was at the front desk.

Great stay here. Recommend it.

It had been quite a few years since I had stayed at this hotel but it certainly is not the hotel it once was. Our check in was fine. Quick and staff seemed friendly enough. Once you get past the lobby is when things go downhill. We were on the 3rd floor and it was very dingy looking.

Very good for price

I chose this hotel for my family who are visiting from Toronto because it's close to our house and Polo Park Mall and it is accessible by bus. We booked through Expedia and when we got to our floor, we were hit by a stench of cigarrettes, unwashed laundry and sweat. The carpets are disgusting and filthy. When we got to our room, it definitely didn't look like what was advertised. Unfortunately, the room is next to the pool. Quiet time is 10pm but at 11pm there was still lots of noise. I tried to talk to the guy at reception if we can move to a different room but was told the hotel is fully booked and to try again the following day. I understand because it is graduation party season (the hotel has a huge hall for parties) and some rooms are probably occupied by evacuees from northern communities affected by wildfires. The following day, I talked to the woman at the reception and was told they do not have an available room equivalent to ours (double delux). I shared my disappointment saying what was on the website is far from the actual room. The woman asked me where we booked and I told her through Expedia. She then explained that Expedia's price is cheaper but they book the bad rooms. You get what you pay for. Had we booked through the hotel website, it would be more expensive but we'd be given a better room.

Good location, our room was extremely noisy due to being right beside a compressor or pump or something. Had to wear earplugs to sleep. Do not recommend room 417
