Courtyard Cleveland Airport South

This hotel claims to offer “park, sleep, fly” service. In fact, that is the reservation site I used to find it. However, once here I discovered that they don’t offer shuttle service to the airport. Perhaps they allow extended parking, however if you can’t get to the airport, it really isn’t worth it. I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Likes the location and the property smelled amazing and was very clean. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable

We reserved the room because of the swimming pool. Not knowing it was under construction. We went to Walmart and spent hundreds on pool supplies and flotation equipment. No pool. We were not warned on the website or by staff.

Construction had the pool closed. I cancelled my reservation due to this, but still had to pay.

Totally disappointed. Pool and other parts of this hotel are under renovation. Arrived in the evening and parking lot to hotel lobby was taped-off and no parking was available. I am requesting a full refund of $139. Expedia needs to do a better job of being notified by the hotel of renovations and amenities not being available.

Super clean and friendly staff , modern facilities

Several of us stayed here for a weekend for a family visit. Checking in was decent and friendly. The properly is undergoing renovation and the lobby and bistro look like they’ve already been renovated and they’re very nicely decorated. The room we had on the 5th floor was definitely renovated, as it was the newer style Courtyard room and it was decent. The shower area in the room was way too tight though, they put the bottles on the side wall right where you stand under the shower stream, so there’s no room to wash hair and move arms in the shower – These bottles need to be moved to the back wall, like at other properties. The Bistro was nice… Akeem the bartender and also the guy who takes care of breakfast is accommodating and friendly. We stopped at the bar a few times as a large group while staying there and he did a great job taking care of us. The staff we encountered were helpful. We were there 2 nights and used all three towels the first morning and expected them to refresh the room when we got back that day, only to see they didn’t. I guess this is one of those properties that’s being cheap and not refreshing every room everyday, like they should be… So, we asked for more towels at the desk and though it took a few minutes, we got them. Overall, it’s a nice property that is centrally located to what we needed and very close to the airport too. Definitely would recommend.
