Garden City Hotel

Enjoyed our stay at the Garden City Hotel. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. They're pet friendly!! Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I would pick The Garden City Hotel for our venue, time and time again. Jerry, Brittany S., Brittany D., Christian, Nancy and Jose were all INTEGRAL pieces of the puzzle and our wedding would not have been the magical day that it was without them. From our very first meeting, they answered every question, every phone call, every email with professionalism and never once made me or my husband feel like we were asking too much. They worked with us through each and every step to ensure our day was everything we dreamed of and more. My Bridal attendant, Nang, was attentive, intuitive and I could not have asked for anyone better. She anticipated every need I had that day and helped make sure my day was running smoothly so I could truly enjoy myself. The staff at the Garden City Hotel are warm, friendly, courteous and helpful. Everyone, from the front desk to the wait staff to the cleaning staff to the valet staff. The service here is unmatched. If you choose to host your event here, you will not be disappointed.

The GC staff is always excellent. Efficient, professional, friendly. Luis is especially super. Restaurants and bars are fine. Nice night - so music on the patio bar was a plus. The GCH thinks of itself and is a fairly premium hotel. They've done a good job maintaining the facility and rooms/dining areas. However it's also getting up there in years since it was constructed. Maintenance only goes so far. I'd say they're going to have to embark on a floor by floor renovation in the not too distant future if the hope to Maintain their Premium hotel status.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Loved the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent as we were there to visit Adelphi University

Just stayed here for four nights and $2.6k later can confidently say its 1) super expensive and 2) ridiculously overrated. Where to begin? Tacky decor. Tacky vibe. Terrible food. Annoying check-in/check-out process. Staff was nice enough but need some serious training. Anyway, the list goes on. Needless to say, I wouldn't stay here again. Next time I travel to visit family, I'll try the Hyatt.

All the staffs are helpful and friendly. I also like their check out system. They emailed me detailed bill on the day I check out.even their breakfast is quite expensive but worth it. They made it way better than cafe nearby.

Their interior decoration looks a bit old. They need a renovation. Their TV turns on and off by it self. It’s kinda annoying. They didn’t tell me the breakfast in not included in the room charge until I finished breakfast and surprised with a $100 bill.

A big thank you to all staff members of the hotel especially to Andrew Gee and Jillian who have made our stay such a successful one. Jiji in the boutique for her warm welcome and smile and Nalini for being the angel she is. Vicente and Clement and Ricardo for their excellent service in the Kings’ bar. Kayla and all other receptionists for being so helpful with all queries. And all that I have not mentioned. And thank you Andrew for the beautiful and delicious cake for the 21st birthday of Kevin, and the flowers ✨We definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to coming back this August.
