The Bradford Hotel

We were on a coach break away we came here to stay for the night the food that was offered was a disgrace serving to many people and not enough to go around keep well away from this hotel they also know how to charge for drinks extremely expensive The rooms are clean but have no central heating just a small oil radiator in such a large room absolutely disgraceful this place should be closed down it is an embarrassment to Bradford and the county of Yorkshire

Had a lovely night in hotel dinner,bed and breakfast. Evening meal was starter, main and desserts (certainly many to choose from) tasty and delicious meal for me and my daughter. Bedroom was spacious,warm and comfortable with room service if needed. Breakfast was plentiful and complementary to all tastes, whether cereal or cooked breakfast was wanted. Staff are all great and friendly helping you to enjoy your stay.

The room had not been vacuumed nor dusted. The shower unit is filthy and not fit for use. Photos supplied. We tried to get a room elsewhere but were unable to find a suitable nearby hotel. I certainly will not be anywhere near this place as it’s not hygienic in any way. This was a grouping but I have found cheaper deals a lot better. On a lighter note the deal was including 2 glasses of wine but the staff refused even though I showed proof at the reception.

Not a good start when the coach pulls up and you see about 6 teenagers running in and out of the hotel. Then have to walk up 6 flights of stairs to get to the third floor, whilst carrying your bags with these same teenage boys running past you pushing. Yes the place has a lift but two coach parties turning up at the same time is not good for lift use. Then we could not open the room door, so yes you gave guessed back down six flights of stairs, only to find out they have not activated the key. So back up six flights of stairs, yes still a queue for the lift. We now get in the door to find broken glass on the floor. The bathroom is like something out of a cheap out in the sticks public loo. The sink is stained and dirty, sure a little bleach and elbow grease would get it clean. The toilet has a crack on the bowl and the bath base is black, if I get in that I would most likely come out dirtier then when going in. Oh my gosh, is this place for real. I still have the enjoyment of an evening meal to come, along with a nights sleep then breakfast. My get back to the review of the food, if I survive the night. Unless you are paying less then £10 per night for the room, my advice try somewhere else.

Where to begin with how awful this hotel is. First, the public restrooms in the lobby are disgusting. I told the staff twice they needed service and hours later nothing is fixed. No toilet paper. No paper towels to dry your hands with. They thought it was ok to put a bathroom towel on the sink for everyone to use?? Two nights in a row, in the restaurant, our party would have to make three selections, as we were told “we are all out of that”. The hotel is old and dirty. The sleeping rooms are run down (see photo of my bathroom sink) and dirty and smelly (smoking).

Clean room, enormous bed friendly and efficient staff

The bed was amazing and comfortable, Great Location and view, but in need of a major update. You can see it’s age creeping up on the hotel. Was ok for the price. Wouldn’t stay again for that price point.

Another lovely stay. Water in bathroom was virtually nonexistent, toilet took 4-5 flushes to clear 😕 Otherwise good again.

Booked two rooms for the weekend and on arrival into my room could not understand the 4* rating. A basic 3* at best. Tv only about 5 channels. Bathroom very dated. The following night my daughter arrived with her mother and hotel could not find reservation having verbally confirmed when I arrived the day before but after a few minutes a room became available. On entering their room and the bathroom they were greeted with the image below on the shower wall! Did not eat at the hotel but a good Chinese buffet a few door down!
